Nov 07 - Rudder Stiffener Cutting and Edge Finishing
- 1.25 Hours
Started the process of cutting and finishing the rudder stiffeners. They
come in long strips that must be cut, rounded, and edge finished.

Looks like work ahead!
I used the snips to make the short cuts, and the bandsaw to cut the long tapers
in the stiffeners. Then over to the sander for rough shaping. Followed by edge finishing
with the files and finally polishing with the scotchbrite wheel. Total time per
stiffner: ~15 minutes. There's 16 of them total, so should take 4 hours to complete.
That's about all the math I'm good for.

1.25 Hours / 5 stiffeners = 15 min each.
