Dec 07 - Drilled Rudder Skeleton
- 2.0 Hours
I cut and formed the R-716 rudder bottom attach
strips and the R-717 spacer.

I then edge finished the newly formed parts.
I had some minor adjustments to get all of the rudder skeleton parts to fit together
correctly, and then clecoed everything together and final-drilled all of the holes.

All of the rudder skeleton parts final drilled.
Then I worked on the R-713 counterbalance skin. It is difficult to get the forward
edge of R-703 (rudder top rib) fluted enough to make the holes in R-713 line up,
but I finally got a close enough match.

I used my #40 reamer on all of these predrilled holes.
